Support
Write to us at support@iquit.gg and a person answers. Below are the things people ask most, with the fastest way to each one.
1Reaching a person
Email support@iquit.gg. There is no ticket queue and no bot in front of it. We read everything and usually answer the same day.
In the app, Settings has a Contact us row that opens the same address with your mail app.
Three things make an answer faster, and none of them are secrets:
- The email address on your account, so we can find you.
- Your phone and its iOS or Android version, if something looks broken.
- A screenshot, if what you are describing is on screen.
Never send us your password. We will never ask for one, and we cannot read yours.
2Membership and billing
Your membership is sold by the store you installed from, Apple on iPhone or Google Play on Android. That store takes the payment, holds the card, and controls the renewal, which means some of this is done in your store settings rather than in the app.
To cancel on iPhone:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap IQUIT.GG, then Cancel Subscription.
To cancel on Android:
- Open the Play Store app.
- Tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Tap IQUIT.GG, then Cancel subscription.
Cancelling stops the next charge. You keep everything until the period you already paid for runs out. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf, because we are not the ones billing you.
To ask for a refund on iPhone, go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that made the purchase. On Android, open play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory and choose Request a refund on the order. The decision is the store's, not ours. If it turns you down and you think that is wrong, write to us anyway and we will tell you what we can see.
New phone, or reinstalled the app? Open Settings inside IQUIT.GG and tap Restore purchases. That reaches the store for the receipt and gives your membership back. If it does not, email support@iquit.gg with the Apple Account or Google account you bought on.
3Your count and your rank
Your clean time is worked out from the date you started, every time it is read. Nothing is stored that can drift, so your count survives a new phone, a reinstall, and a month away.
The daily check-in is where a day is recorded. If you got one wrong, open the calendar, tap the day, and score it again. The rank recomputes from the corrected record.
A slip moves your date. It does not delete your account, your history, or the medals you already earned. That is on purpose and it is not something support needs to undo for you.
If your rank looks wrong after a correction, give it a moment and reopen the app. If it still looks wrong, email us the day in question and we will look at it.
4Other people
You can block or report anybody from their profile, from a conversation, or from anything they posted.
A block works both ways and it is total: you stop seeing them, they stop seeing you, and neither of you can reach the other. Nothing announces it.
A report goes to a person, and it gets read the same day. If you are reporting something serious, or something about a member you have already blocked, email us as well so we have the detail.
5Your account
You can remove things one at a time without closing your account. Tap the more control on your own post or reply and choose Delete, press and hold your own message and choose Delete, and change your name, your bio, and your photos from Edit profile. Each one goes for everyone at once.
If you would rather we did it, write to privacy@iquit.gg from the address your account uses and say what you want removed.
To delete your account, open Settings inside the app and tap Delete account. It asks once, then it is done.
Deletion is permanent. Your profile, your posts, your messages, and your photos go with it, and we cannot bring any of it back afterwards.
If you cannot open the app, write to privacy@iquit.gg from the address your account uses and we will delete it for you.
Your account and everything attached to it goes at once. Encrypted backups still hold a copy for up to 30 days before they roll off, and we keep only the payment records the law requires us to keep. Neither is ever used to bring an account back.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription, because the store holds it and not us. Cancel it first, in your Apple settings or in the Play Store app, or you will keep being charged for an account that is gone.
For a copy of your data, or to ask us to correct something, write to privacy@iquit.gg. The Privacy Policy sets out what we hold and what you can ask for.
